SHELF LIFE: Two year when stored at temperatures higher than 40˚F and less than 110˚F. Keep from freezing.

SURFACE PREPARATION: All surfaces must be structurally sound, clean, dry and free from contaminants that could prevent proper bondto the substrate. All wet areas must have proper slope to drains. Apply when surface temperature of the substrate is between 40˚F–105˚F.

APPLICATION: Follow applicable ANSI & TCNA installation specifications.

WATERPROOFINGAPPLICATION: Clean surface with damp cloth or sponge but do notleave standing water on substrate. No fabric required.Use a paint brush, 1/2" nap roller or 3/16" x 1/4" v-notch trowel to apply liquid membrane. Pre-coat all edges, corners, coves and protrusions with a heavy coat ofliquid membrane extending it onto the horizontal surface 6" and on the vertical surface 6". Then apply a continuous even film coat with overlapping strokes over the entire substrate to be waterproofed. After the first coat becomes dry, usually 1 hour inspect membrane for voids or pinholes. Fill any voids with liquid membrane and apply second coat to entire substrate at 90 degree angles to the first coat.

ANTI-FRACTURE APPLICATION:  Clean surface with damp cloth or sponge but do not leave standing water on substrate. Force the liquid membrane into cracks with the flat side of the trowel, brush or roller. Then, using a 3/16" x 1/4" v-notch trowel or 1/2" nap roller apply additional liquid membrane onto the substrate.
NOTE: (When using the trowel technique use the notched side of the trowel first. Then knock down then ridges with the flat side of the trowel to obtain a continuous even film thickness). The membrane should extend beyond both sides of the crack a minimum of one and a half times the size of tiles being installed. For continuous crack prevention cover the entire substrate with material achieving a minimum 30 mil wet thickness.

DRY TIME: Dry time is generally 45 minutes. Dry time will vary depending on the temperature and humidity. Tile maybe applied when ShowerSeel has changed to a dark green color or dry to the touch. Allow membrane tocure for a minimum of 12 hours prior to conducting water tests for shower pan liner applications. Can be applied to green concrete after 72 hours of dry time.

TILE ADHESION: Install tile or stone with an (118.4) latex-modifiedthinset mortar.

CLEAN UP:Clean up with soap and water while the materialis still wet.

LIMITED WARRANTY: ShowerSeel warrants that its product shall be free from defects in the material under proper usage for a period of two years from original installation date. Material safety data sheet available for safety and environmental information. Keep out of reach of children.

LIMITATIONS: Do not apply over concrete with moisture content levels exceeding 8 lbs/1000 or where surfaces are subject to hydrostatic pressure.
